Custom
My client approached me with a special request for a custom wedding guest look, wanting to incorporate fabric from a skirt she had previously owned into a fresh, modern design. I was excited to transform the fabric into a striking corseted double bubble skirt gown that would make a statement at the wedding. The fabric was artfully woven into the design, featured in the first bubble skirt, as well as in the corset. For an added touch of elegance, I crafted black mesh gloves with a trim of the original skirt fabric, tying the look together beautifully. The result was a stunning, one-of-a-kind outfit that honored the sentimental value of the fabric while offering a chic, contemporary twist for the occasion.
WEDDING GUEST
This gown began with our first collaborative sketch, where my client and I explored her vision and refined the key elements of the design. During this initial brainstorming session, we worked together to establish the silhouette, color scheme, and overall theme for the garment. It was a creative exchange where I listened closely to her wants and needs, ensuring the dress would reflect her style while also meeting the specific details she envisioned. From the very first sketch, we shaped a design that would be both meaningful and visually striking, laying the foundation for the stunning custom gown that would eventually come to life.
