STYLING
My manager wanted to remind the team about the seasonal wardrobe change, so I styled a few of my teammates to showcase how to incorporate key pieces into their outfits. We focused on the importance of layering for both warmth and style, as well as incorporating closed-toed shoes to prepare for the colder weather. These styling sessions allowed me to demonstrate how to effectively mix and match items from the new collection, ensuring the team understood how to present the latest styles while keeping customers’ needs in mind. This approach helped align everyone with the season’s trends and ensured we were all ready to assist customers in finding the perfect outfits.

When creating window displays, I would collaborate with my manager to determine the theme, and then take charge of bringing the vision to life. The goal was to ensure the display resonated with the full range of Buckle’s target audience, driving the highest possible foot traffic to the store. I would create a color scheme that provided cohesion between the two window displays, ensuring a seamless visual experience. This process required a balance of creativity and strategic thinking to effectively highlight the brand's products while aligning with the store's broader merchandising goals.
WALL DISPLAYS
At Buckle, teammates are entrusted with full responsibility for visual merchandising, which includes managing the layout of the sales floor by finding creative placements for new products as freight arrives, often rearranging existing displays to ensure new items are seamlessly integrated while maintaining an appealing and organized store presentation.
TABLE DISPLAYS
Creating a table display at Buckle involves carefully selecting products that align with the current visual merchandising theme or promotion. The process begins by reviewing the new arrivals and identifying key items to feature. After choosing the products, I arrange them in a visually appealing and accessible way, often layering or grouping items by color, style, or seasonality. Depending on the product, I may add props or signage to enhance the display, ensuring it aligns with both the brand image and the store's visual standards.
